Management Team

Ken Foster - Founder

Ken is from a technology background. After completing his BA he began designing workflows for UNIX based pre-press systems. After 4 years in Digital Marketing, he went on to design and build the first serious digital currency for the music industry and has represented UK music in Japan, USA, France and Canada. He is a passionate advocate of blockchain technology and has given several lectures on the topic at Manchester University.

Dave Blundell - Founder, Chief Operating Officer

Dave is the spokesman for the company and also excels in project management and sales roles.  He has a wealth of experience in IT infrastructure solutions, as well as being an active member of the Association of Independent Music. Dave has recently completed the Oxford University Blockchain Strategy program  run by the Said Business School.

Tim Shank - Chairperson, Chief Technology Officer

Tim is an entrepreneurial technologist with over 25 years’ experience in business and technical areas encompassing software engineering, blockchain technology, IOT, IT project management, IT operations and enterprise application implementation.

Tim is responsible for Blockpool’s technology strategy and plays a key role in leading the blockchain industry by instigating new creative initiatives driving innovation through R&D activities and leveraging emerging technologies to bring pioneering blockchain solutions to clients.
Skilled in Project Management and Agile methodologies Tim’s team is constantly working to deliver real-world solutions to Blockpool clients allowing them to fully realize the power of blockchain technology to benefit and enhance their businesses.

Jason Still - Chief Revenue Officer

Jason heads up Blockpool's business development unit and is a strategic connector to the sport, media, and entertainment industries. He brings to the table deep knowledge and experience in talent management, merchandise licensing, biometric security, and wifi connectivity. Jason has managed talents like Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Matthew Pincent, Gianluca Vialli, John Barnes, Sven Goran Eriksson, and Divo.

Kevin Bacon - Music Industry Specialist

Kevin is a veteran of the music and music tech world.  After a 20 year career producing Grammy and BRIT award winning artists, he created AWAL(Artist Without A Label) - a ground-breaking digital music platform which was acquired by Cobalt in 2011.  Kevin is a connector and enabler to many global brands and businesses who are actively looking to the blockchain for answers.

Ben Stump - Non-Executive Director 

Ben is a globally experience technology leader who has built and brought countless software solutions to various market verticals.  As expert with SaaS and PaaS solutions offering secure scalability, Ben has also been a technology innovator in the brand protection space.  Ben has held executive and leadership positions with OpSec Security, Westell Technologies, Kentrox, Digicel, Telcordia Technologies and Bellcore.

Sean King - Investor Relations

Sean is a serial entrepreneur who has built, bought and sold marketing agencies and has recently started a new career as an advisor to a number of companies across the blockchain, advertising, media, content and technology sectors.  Sean has pedigree experience in running businesses and working with a variety of brands to help drive growth.

Richard Skinner - Investment Advisor 

Richard’s background is in banking and finance, having just retired from a 44 year career with Coutts.  He specialized in commercial debt finance, running the bank’s Commercial Office’s CRM Team servicing the music industry and other media and technology businesses.  He became a go-to figure for the independent music sector and lectured on debt financing against Intellectual Property Rights to Post graduates at Warwick University and on behalf of the MPA.
